Critical Existentialism Series 存在思覺系列

The meaning of existence lies in how we understand life. In our daily lives, the things we encounter are mostly matters of practical necessity, but in the broader scope of life, how do we comprehend the meaning of existence? When we cannot perceive things beyond the material world with our eyes alone, it is often contemplation that leads us into another dimension—a space of the mind. Every question, enquiry, and innovation emerges from a process of contemplation. This space is a metaphysical dimension—one whose contents we cannot initially comprehend. Yet, through contemplation, inventions, objects, systems, and structures come into being via the mind.

The Critical Existentialism Series attempts to present this unknown space on a pictorial surface. Although it may appear imaginary, when rendered as a physical object, it becomes a tangible reality in three-dimensional space. What exists in this unknown space? Or what else might exist there? Within this space, we have already identified elements that people initially imagined— mathematics, writing, language—as well as everything we can witness with our naked eye in the world we inhabit. Even with the AI we have developed, this intangible space may hold more secrets currently unknown to us. How God created the universe is perhaps a question we must attempt to understand through contemplation and awareness.

Perhaps God exists within this space. Perhaps this space itself is God’s dimension—and we are sharing its energy.


存在的意義在生活上我們日常面對的事物不外乎現實所需。在生命中我們如何理解存在的意義？在物質以外的事物我們無法用視覺去理解存在的意義，往往是思想把我們帶進到一個思維空間，一切的疑問、詢問及創新會是經過一個思考過程。這空間似是形而上的維度，一般而言我們無法在初步去理解那空間究竟存在著什麼，但經過我們的思維，一切的發明、事物、制度、系統等等，在思維中顯生或覺悟。

「存在思覺系列」試圖把一個未知的空間在圖面上呈現。雖然這空間在畫面上似是虛構，但當我們以實體去呈現，那便是一個三維空間中的實景。在這個不知名的空間存在著什麼？或還有什麼存在？我們在這空間已找出我們首先想像出來的，如同數學、文字、語言、各種各樣我們能用肉眼能見證的一個我們正生存在的世界裡。連同當今我們發展出來的AI，這個無形的空間潛藏著更多我們不能知的秘密。上帝如何創造出一個宇宙，也許我們必須從思覺中嘗試理解。

也許上帝存在這空間裡，也許這空間便是上帝的維度，而我們正在分享祂的能量。
